Cancellations and refunds

In general, if you cancel before a deadline (specific to each event) will incur an administrative fee. Cancellations after the deadline will incur a more substantial fee thereafter, depending on the terms of any external or contractual deadlines for confirming delegate numbers. Please see the event page for specifics to that event.

Alternatively, for most of our events, just transfer your ticket, e.g. to someone else in your church. In this case, please let us know before the booking deadline, otherwise our late booking policy (below) may apply.

In the instance of exceptional circumstances preventing attendance (e.g. serious illness, bereavement), cancellation fees will be waived, at our discretion. For further clarification on exceptional cases, please contact the events office.

If delegates are concerned about cancellation, we recommend that you obtain appropriate travel insurance.

Of course, if we cancel, for whatever reason, we will issue a full refund.

Late bookings

in the event of bookings received after the final deadline, at our discretion these may be accepted, but will be subject to a late booking administration fee to cover our additional costs. (Acceptance of late bookings usually leads to substantial additional work, e.g. reorganising groups, renegotiating with suppliers.)

Discounts

Any available discounts (e.g. for people under or over a certain age) will be shown as different ticket types.

Further discounts and fee assistance are not available from S&L Advance, but may be available by contacting your local church.

Accessibility

For all events, if you have a disability that we should be aware of, please inform the events office, or note it on your booking form. We will handle your data in confidence, while we endeavour to make reasonable adjustments, in conjunction pastorally with your local church. (For example, while provision of a hearing loop is standard for all-age events, for children/youth events we will arrange on request.)

In general, essential carers will be allowed free of charge.
