Thrive is the new annual gathering for the Salt & Light Advance family of churches. Gathering together as a wider family of churches is important! We catch sight of a bigger picture. We see that he’s called us to be a movement, together impacting our part of the world. We are inspired, taught and equipped and filled afresh with the Holy Spirit. We have the opportunity to deepen old friendships and create new ones. We eat, pray and worship together.

Our annual youth camp, in which we gather young people across our family of churches for fun, games and quality time with God.

We’re excited to gather our young people across our family of churches for more fun, games and quality time with God. We’re going to go deeper into what he calls us to do through worship, teaching and quiet times whilst having even more fun than last year!
Wildfires 2023
Salt & Light Advance are attending together, as a family of churches, Wildfires and Big Church Festival (BCF) 2023, both events on the beautiful Wiston House estate in West Sussex.
As Advance we’re trying to get as many people as possible there for Wildfires, as this was the event that seemed to have the most impact on our people and churches. However, some people may want to do both, or one or the other. You’re free to choose. If you book for Wildfires, BCF is free – two festivals for the price of one!
Advance Prayer Day
Join us for our Advance prayer day, gathering staff and voluntary leaders from Advance churches.
Doors open at 9.30am for a 9.45am start. Lunch will be 12.45-1.30pm. The day will end at 2.30pm.
Greece Mission Trip
Now fully booked
We are excited to be heading to Greece from the 1-6 April 2023, taking 2 teams to Chania and Ioannina where churches are reaching out to Greek, Roma and refugee people groups. This will be a fun and exciting trip in joining with the church in Greece to reach out to those that don’t know Christ yet.
Advance Leadership Conference: Multiply
Multiply is our annual conference for all those in Advance churches in Christian leadership in the church and beyond. The teaching, together with time to encounter God, will equip, inspire and renew us in building cultures that foster health and multiplicative growth.

Monster Turkey
Monster Turkey is an evening built to allow our young people to have fun! There will be inflatables, films, wide games, chilled board games, and a space just to sit and relax with friends! You won’t be disappointed!
Advance Celebration
A gathering for all our churches, with worship, speaker Stephen Foster, former Head of Alpha UK, and great activities for children and young people.
Senior Leadership Retreat
We're excited to be hosting our first joint retreat for senior leadership couples from Salt & Light Advance and Momentum spheres, as well as Community Church Leeds!
