Advance Celebration June 2024

For this Celebration, we’re delighted to welcome Ben Armstrong, Overseer of Prophetic Ministry at Bethel Church (Redding, USA). Ben is gifted prophetically, not least in the area of dreams, and has a passion to see people equipped and released in the prophetic.

Ben will be in Oxfordshire, at the invitation of Oxford Community Church, for a series of events ministering to leaders and prophetic people, in the city, in our churches and beyond.

Because this is part of a long weekend of events, this Celebration is a morning only, although feel free to bring a packed lunch to eat together after the service.

Timings

9:45 - Childrens check-in and sign up for those who have not pre-registered.

10:00 - Refreshments will be available.

12:30 - finish and collect children.

You are welcome to stay and eat your picnic lunch in the atrium.

Children and youth

Pre-registration for children and youth is now closed.

If you have not yet registered your chilldren please allow plenty of time to do so on Sunday morning.

Offering

Our celebration offering will help us bless and honour Ben for his ministry, and also enable us to keep investing into the life of the Spirit, including prophetic ministry, in our churches.

There will be opportunity fo individuals to give online on the day, or give now.

Churches who wish to give to this offering, please contact us for bank details.

Volunteers needed!

Our celebrations are run with the support of a large team of volunteers from across all the Advance churches.

We have enough volunteers signed up to help with children and youth, but still need a few more serving on refreshments and welcome!

Car parking and travel

There is limited parking at The King’s Centre.

If walking in from off-site would be problematic because you have disability or mobility issues, or elderly members of your family or lots of small children, then you can reserve a space using this form. If you are unsure please contact CarolB@rootsandrivers.uk

For those without a reserved space there is lots of free on-street parking in nearby roads, as well as the option to park at Seacourt Park and Ride and take a bus to the Osney Island stop, a short walk from The King's Centre. Alternatively it is a 1 mile walk from Seacourt Park and Ride (there will not be dedicated shuttle buses from the P&R) or 10min walk from Oxford train station.
