Advance Leadership Conference: Multiply

‘Multiply’

We are excited to be gathering again, as a Salt & Light Advance family of churches, for our 2023 leadership conference: Multiply, hosted by the Salt & Light Advance team.

God has called his family to grow and multiply! We are called to impact the world around us in a major way, not staying on the margins or simply maintaining the status quo. And while many churches are still feeling diminished from the impact of Covid, without a shadow of a doubt, new life is coming, bringing new birth, and new church plants.

Multiply is for all those in our churches in Christian leadership in the church and beyond. The teaching, together with time to encounter God, will equip, inspire and renew us in building cultures that foster health and multiplicative growth in our churches.

Guest speakers

Colin Baron was due to be our main speaker. Colin founded multi-site church Christ Church Manchester, The Broadcast Network and is part of the Newfrontiers Together apostolic team. Unfortunately, at late notice, Colin is unable to join us for personal reasons, and we are delighted that his colleague Tim Simmonds (leader of Christ Church Manchester, and on the Newfrontiers Catalyst team) will be speaking instead.

Rachel Jordan-Wolf (Evangelical Alliance and Talking Jesus), and Sheridan Voysey (author and broadcaster) will also be joining us for the seminars and workshops in sessions 3 and 4.

Venue and practicalities

This event is being hosted by Oxford Community Church and The King's Centre in Oxford, as our event in 2022 proved to be accessible to a much wider range of people than have historically been able to attend leaders’ conferences.

There is free parking on-site. Lunch and refreshments are provided on both days, and dinner on Saturday.

In order for the conference to provide retreat and refreshing for participants, there no provision for children on-site. Rather, we encourage parents to make arrangements with family and friends.

Overnight accommodation can be booked at various price-points in various hotels and guesthouses around the city. More info here.
